Product Description & Reviews
Tie Guan Yin or Iron Goddess of Mercy is one of the most famous China oolongs, steeped in legend. The tale is of a rundown temple in Anxi, Fujian Province which held an iron statue of Guanyin. Every day on the walk to his tea fields, a poor farmer named Mr. Wei would pass by and reflect on the temple's worsening condition. The green/black leaves are finely rolled into shape. It is very lightly oxidised. This loose tea looks amazing when brewing in a glass tea pot or glass tea cup. Watch the leaves magically unfurl as they brew.
